How I Can Help
We are a team of physician advocates, offering support, knowledge and coordination of care to you and your family when you feel overwhelmed and confused by challenging medical issues.

Support: we find answers to your questions; we support you in seeking a second opinion, and bring you together with top specialists and medical centers;
Knowledge: we review pertinent medical records and translate them so you know what is happening, why it is happening, and what your options are; we provide you with the most up to date medical research to support you in making decisions knowledgeably. We explain unclear diagnoses and research new or alternate treatments.
Coordination: We encourage communication among your health care team and help share information so that your care is not “siloed”; we look for and spot those things that can fall through the cracks in your medical care; we make sure key family members and caregivers are included and working together.

Why I Became a Professional Healthcare Advocate
During a ten year hiatus from clinical medicine taken to care for two young children and ailing parents, I experienced firsthand the demands on family and caregivers in managing elderly family members with serious health conditions, including pancreatic cancer, Alzheimer’s dementia and heart disease. My inside knowledge of the workings of the medical world played a crucial role in the good health outcomes of my relatives and in relieving their stress and anxiety. The experience made clear the need patients have for a level of support that currently does not exist in our healthcare system.

Of particular interest to me is working closely with clients to help them to define what is most important to them in their lives as they face challenging health diagnoses and then supporting them as they navigate through.
